Common questions
How do I set up my truck and costs?
Open the Costs tab. Pick your equipment, then review the operating assumptions — every number has a sensible default you can override with your real costs (payments, insurance, maintenance, driver pay). The more real your inputs, the sharper your quotes.
Where do the rates come from?
Your quote is built from your own operating costs (fuel at the current diesel price, driver pay, equipment and fixed costs, and the time a load ties up your truck), then anchored so it never falls below current market rate bands for your equipment — or the minimum it's worth to roll the truck at all.
Does the app work offline?
Yes. Everything runs on your phone. The only features that use the internet are the optional diesel-price refresh and FMCSA links in Fraud Shield.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are handled by your app store, not by us: on iPhone, Settings → your name → Subscriptions; on Android, Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions. Canceling keeps Pro active until the end of the paid period. Refunds follow Apple/Google policy and are requested through them.
How do I restore a purchase on a new phone?
Install RateAnchor, open the Pro screen, and tap Restore purchases while signed in to the same App Store / Google account you bought with.
Is my data backed up?
Your data lives on your device (that's the privacy promise). Your phone's own backup (iCloud / Google backup) will typically carry it to a new device. Cloud sync is on our roadmap as an optional feature.
I found a wrong number or a bug.
Tell us — accuracy is the whole product. Email support@rateanchor.app with the load details (miles, equipment, your costs) and what you expected, and we'll dig in.
